Places I've Been...and one I'm planning on going to...

These some of the places I've been and considering returning to...except for Costa Rica, where I have not been yet.

California

Well, in my mind...the least "exotic" of the places in this list. Nevertheless, I have spent much time here. From 1972 at age two when I lived in Norwalk (close to Long Beach) to my first surfing experience and lot's of family/friends in Santa Cruz, to College at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), to continued studies at the American Film Institute (AFI), to working in Los Angeles, Venis, Santa Monica, San Diego, La Jolla, Santa Maria, to Mt. Shasta Pilgramages to my recent first visit to Joshua Tree, Camping trips to Jalama...to the Channel Islands Harbor...well the list goes on...

New Orleans, Louisiana

Yeah...quite the love/hate relationship. I love it through and through. You either get it or you don't. This is the only place on this list that does not have epic surfing conditions. However, It is a place of great importance to me and therefore am always open to returning to.

Hawaii

Hawaii is a challenging place for me. I think it is socially and racially problematic, A first world paradise that is coveted by the richest people around the world. If you're not part of the solution...you're part of the problem.

Bali, Indonesia

Simply Awesome. May be the most culturally sophisticated and beautiful place on earth!!!

Costa Rica, Central America

I haven't been here yet...but wanting to make it happen.
